Hon. Lady Justice Cecilia Githua

Hon. Lady Justice Cecilia Githua is a High Court Judge based at Milimani Law Courts- Criminal Division.
She was admitted to the bar in 1988 and in 1989 she was admitted to the bench as a District Magistrate II and has since risen in rank to a High court Judge. She is passionate on matters related access to justice, gender equality and equity, human rights and empowerment of women and the girl child. She is also keen on community service and has undertaken the following activities: Mentorship & Career Counseling at the Kenya Red Cross Society and Alliance High School, Assisting in the management of Alliance High School and Kikuyu Day School as a member of the Board of Management, Providing material and financial support to needy children up to tertiary & university levels. Participating in charitable activities organized by the Catholic Women Association and volunteering as a Sunday School Teacher.
Hon. Lady Justice Githua is the Vice President International Association of Women Judges - Kenya Chapter.
